As program assistant for Asbury Worship Collective, I had the privilege of planning and playing on our Southeast Tour in March 2016.
With the help of my co-leader, I planned a 10-day tour through the Southeast United States. We led worship in 6 churches, visited more than 10 cities, and recorded numerous small creative projects along the way.
A major part of planning a tour is keeping a presence on social media. We had a media team join us on tour who handled filming and editing recap videos each day and posting to social media regularly. Our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all saw higher traffic while we were on tour, and our media team worked hard to keep our accounts active.
Part of the branding for the tour was making graphics to send out to each venue to publicize the tour. One of our band members doubled as our graphic designer and sent out posters, media slides, and logo overlays.
One of our goals for this tour was to create a lot of small projects like videos and recorded songs. Below are a few of the songs we recorded over the trip.
